In Letter Press Teach-in artist and activist, Nura Ali, and I took over a wing of our then academic institution to discuss the ideas of activists, artists and theorists who had shaped our understanding of institutional racism, coalition and racial capitalism. With different student groups, we created an archive of text based works that gave image and texture to personal experiences of racialization. The prints were later displayed in a public exhibition titled BACKTALK.
