YARA is an arts collective comprised of myself and artists Aaniya Asrani and Reyhan Yazdani. Through social events and gatherings, we host spaces where investigations of the past, present and future lead to shared and new ways of knowing.

In Consider the Hands that Wrote This, YARA facilitated synchronous and asynchronous spaces with women of colour using call and response creative writing to process the crises, celebrations, and intersecting stories of our everyday lives.
